Abstract
PezkuwiChain is a sovereign Layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for the Kurdish nation — a people of 40+ million with no state, yet with a shared language, culture, and economic identity. By combining Trust-enhanced Nominated Proof-of-Stake (TNPoS) consensus, a dual-token model (PEZ + HEZ), and a ZK-proof citizenship protocol, PezkuwiChain provides the financial infrastructure, digital identity, and on-chain governance that a stateless nation needs in the 21st century.
The Problem
Kurdish communities across Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria face fragmented financial systems, restricted access to banking, and no neutral governance layer. Cross-border remittances carry fees of 8–15%. Cultural and educational institutions lack sustainable funding. There is no shared digital infrastructure that transcends the four nation-states that partition Kurdistan.
The Solution
PezkuwiChain is a Substrate-based blockchain with 14 custom pallets covering: P2P exchange, digital citizenship, on-chain education (Perwerde), community governance, staking rewards, and more. It operates independently of any state and is governed entirely by PEZ token holders through on-chain referenda.
